Shipping Policy

At Emany Couture, we carefully prepare every order to ensure that your gown reaches you in excellent condition. We offer two collections, each with its own shipping timeline.

Our Collections

1. Made-to-Order Gowns — designed by me and handcrafted specifically for each customer.

2. Ready-to-Ship Gowns — personally selected by me from trusted international suppliers and available for immediate dispatch.

Production Time (Made-to-Order)

All our made-to-order gowns are handcrafted especially for you. Production takes between 4 to 8 weeks (1–2 months) from the date of order confirmation.

This timeframe may vary depending on:

  • The complexity of the design.

  • Embroidery and embellishment details.

  • Fabric availability.

  • Peak seasons or holidays.

We will notify you immediately if any delays occur. If you have a specific event date, please contact us before placing your order so we can do our best to accommodate your timeline.

Preparation Time (Ready-to-Ship)

Ready-to-ship gowns are prepared and dispatched within 10 to 15 days from the date of order confirmation. These gowns are shipped directly from our international suppliers.

Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

For Made-to-Order Gowns:
We ship worldwide via trusted international couriers such as DHL, FedEx, or Aramex. A tracking number will be emailed to you within 48 hours of dispatch, so you can follow your gown's journey.

For Ready-to-Ship Gowns:

  • Shipping is free.

  • Preparation time: 10 to 15 days.

  • Delivery time: 10 to 15 days after dispatch.

  • Total estimated time: 20 to 30 days.

  • A tracking number will be sent to you as soon as your gown is dispatched.

These are estimated delivery times and may vary due to customs clearance, weather conditions, or courier delays. We are not responsible for delays that occur after the package has left our studio or our supplier's warehouse. We recommend tracking your shipment using the tracking number provided to receive the most up-to-date delivery information.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size of your order. Shipping for ready-to-ship gowns is free.

Special Event Dates

If you have a specific event date, we strongly recommend contacting us before placing your order. We will do our best to accommodate your timeline, but please note that production times (4–8 weeks for made-to-order) and shipping times (20–30 days for ready-to-ship) are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

We are not responsible for missed events due to shipping delays, customs holds, or production timelines.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Norway is not a member of the European Union. International orders shipped to Norway may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and additional fees, which are the sole responsibility of the customer.

All prices displayed on our website do not include customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees.

The customer is solely responsible for paying any customs duties, taxes, or additional charges imposed by their country's customs authorities.

We are required to declare the full value of the gown on the customs form.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance procedures.

What Happens If a Package Is Refused or Returned?

If your package is returned to us because:

  • You refused to pay customs duties or taxes.

  • You were unavailable to receive the delivery.

  • You refused to accept the package for any reason.

We will contact you to arrange the next steps. You will have two options:

  1. Re-shipping: Pay the full shipping cost again, and we will re-send your gown.

  2. Refund: We will refund the gown amount minus:

    • Original shipping costs.

    • Return shipping costs (charged by the courier).

    • Any additional fees incurred by Emany Couture.

If we do not receive a response within 14 days of our first contact, we will consider the order abandoned, and no refund will be issued.

Order Cancellation Before Production

For Made-to-Order Gowns:

  • You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it.

  • After 24 hours, production has begun, and cancellation is not possible.

For Ready-to-Ship Gowns:

  • You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, as long as it has not yet been dispatched.

  • Once the gown has been shipped from our supplier, cancellation is no longer possible.

Important Notes

  • Production begins shortly after order confirmation. Please review your order details carefully before confirming.

  • We recommend contacting us before placing your order if you have a specific event date or special delivery requirements.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable once the order has been shipped.
